HOW COBB NEPHROLOGY PUTS MEASURES INTO PLACE TO KEEP YOU SAFE DURING YOUR VISIT

We are practicing CDC recommended guidelines to keep you safe during your visit including:

• Daily screening of all team members and patients.
• Limiting the number of patients in the waiting room to ensure social distancing.
• Wearing medical-grade masks.
• Ensuring continuous hand hygiene using alcohol gel or soap and water.
• Offering telephone check in when you arrive for your appointment.
• Requesting patients wait in their vehicle until their appointment.
• Disinfecting waiting rooms and high-touch areas frequently.
• Disinfecting exam rooms between each patient.
• Allowing only essential visitors, who will also be screened.

HOW YOU CAN HELP YOURSELF STAY SAFE DURING YOUR VISIT

• Wear a mask or cloth face covering that you can bring from home to appointment.
• Let us know in advance if you have a special assistance situation.
• Perform hand hygiene when you enter and leave the office, and as needed during your visit.

However, if you feel apprehensive about an office visit, we will continue to offer video visits to ensure you get the care that you need. All you need is a device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) that has a video camera, microphone and internet. Our office staff will be happy to assist you in setting this up.
